These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Prestige Family Office University ("PFU," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the pfuniversity.org website and our educational services.

By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

Eligibility

Enrollment in PFU courses may have additional eligibility requirements as specified in our admissions policies and individual course descriptions.

User Accounts

  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.

Educational Services

Course Enrollment

Enrollment in PFU courses is subject to availability and admission requirements. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our discretion. Enrollment does not guarantee completion or certification.

Academic Integrity

Students are expected to maintain the highest standards of academic integrity. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:

  • Plagiarism or unauthorized use of others' work
  • Cheating on examinations or assignments
  • Falsification of academic records or credentials
  • Unauthorized collaboration or assistance
  • Sharing course materials with unauthorized parties

Violations of academic integrity may result in disciplinary action, including course failure, suspension, or expulsion without refund.

Course Content and Materials

Course content, syllabi, schedules, and requirements are subject to change at PFU's discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify students of significant changes. Course materials are provided for educational purposes only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Tuition and Fees

Payment

Tuition and fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at enrollment. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access to course materials and services. We accept payment via the methods specified on our website.

Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to our refund policy as stated in the admissions materials and enrollment agreement. Generally:

  • Full refund if withdrawal occurs before the course start date
  • Partial refund if withdrawal occurs within the first two weeks of the course
  • No refund after the two-week period

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Processing may take 30-45 business days.

Intellectual Property Rights

PFU Content

All content on our website and in our courses, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, audio, software, and course materials (collectively, "Content"), is the property of PFU or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or otherwise use our Content without our express written permission, except as necessary for your personal educational use as an enrolled student.

User Content

By submitting content to our website or services (such as assignments, forum posts, or feedback), you grant PFU a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for educational and operational purposes.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that such content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

  • Transmitting harmful code, viruses, or malware

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PFU and its officers, directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to PFU in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PFU and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use or misuse of our services

Third-Party Services and Links

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute with PFU, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will work in good faith to address your concerns.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Orange County, Florida. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to access and use our services will immediately cease
  • You must cease all use of our Content and materials
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect
  • No refunds will be provided except as required by our refund policy

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by email notification.
